First Preview: Saturday, September 20
Opening Night: Thursday, October 16

September 20 – October 19: Mondays at 8:00PM; Tuesdays at 8:00PM; Wednesdays at 2:00PM & 8:00PM; Thursdays at 8:00PM; Fridays at 8:00PM Saturdays at 2:00PM & 8:00PM; Dark Sundays.

After October 18: Dark Mondays; Tuesdays at 7:00PM; Wednesdays at 2:00PM & 8:00PM; Thursdays at 7:00PM; Fridays at 8:00PM; Saturday 2:00PM & 8:00PM; Sundays at 3:00PM.

Q: How do I buy tickets?

A: Tickets can be purchased through Ticketmaster by visiting www.onthetownbroadway.com, or by visiting the box office (213 W. 42nd St. between 7th and 8th Aves). For Group Sales, contact Theatre Direct (1-800-BROADWAY).

Q: What are the regular ticket prices?

Ticket prices for On the Town are:
Orchestra: $147.50
Dress Circle: $47.50
Dress Circle Boxes: $101.50
Balcony: $37.50

Balcony Boxes: $37.50
Premium Seats* are also available via the Box Office or Ticketmaster.
Prices are subject to change and do not include tax or additional handling fees. The prices above do not apply to peak holiday periods. A $2.50 facility fee will be charged in addition to each ticket.

*A Note on Premium Seats: It is industry standard that certain seats are reserved at premium prices. The relative value of those seats is up to the patron to decide.

Q: How do I pick up tickets from Will Call?

A: Will Call is located at our Box Office, located at 213 West 42nd Street near the intersection of 42nd Street and 7th Avenue in Times Square. Tickets may be picked up during the Box Office's regular business hours. You may pick up your tickets on the day of the event, or ahead of time if you choose. Please note that Will Call services for future performances will not be available 30 minutes prior to performance times.

Q: Is the building ADA accessible?

A: Theatre access is available at the 42nd Street entrance. Please request wheelchair seating from sales representative at time of purchase. Wheelchair seating is located in Row G of the Dress Circle. There is no elevator access to the Balcony level. Accessible restrooms are located in the Dress Circle lobby. To request wheelchair seats, please contact our ADA Hotline, 212-556-4715.

Q: How do I buy ADA tickets?

A: To arrange ADA tickets for On the Town, please call our ADA Hotline, 212-556-4715. You will be prompted to leave a message with necessary information, and you will then be contacted directly to complete your transaction. Please note that ADA tickets are not available for purchase on Ticketmaster, and the hotline is reserved solely for ADA patrons.

Q: How young does my child have to be to get in for free?

A: "Lap Seats," or free tickets for small children who wish to watch the show from an adults lap, are not available for On the Town. Every individual who enters the theatre must have a purchased ticket.

A: The theatre has 1,896 seats and three seating levels: Orchestra, Dress Circle, and Balcony. View our online seating chart for details.

Q: How long is the show?

A: The run time for On the Town is expected to be 2 hours and 30 minutes, including a 15 minute intermission.

Q: How do I get to the Lyric Theatre?

A: The Lyric Theatre is situated in the heart of Times Square in New York City. Our Box Office and main entrance are located at 213 West 42nd St. The secondary entrance is located at 214 West 43rd St. Subways A, C, E, 1, 2, 3, Q, N, R, W, F, B, D and Times Square/Grand Central Shuttle all let out at 42nd Street/Times Square within in easy walking distance of the theatre. The Port Authority Bus Terminal is located down the street at the corner of 42nd St. and 8th Ave. See our directions page for a map.

Q: Can I check luggage, coats, umbrellas, etc., at the theatre?

A: Yes, coat check is available in the main lobby. There is a charge of $2 per item.

Q: Can I bring outside food and/or drink into the theatre?

A: While outside food and drink are not allowed in the theatre, guests are able to bring snacks and drink purchased in the theatre to their seats.

Q: Are photos and/or videos allowed in the theatre?

A: The use of any recording device, either audio or video, and the taking of photographs, either with or without flash, is strictly prohibited while inside the theatre.

Q: Is the Lyric Theatre equipped with infrared hearing devices?

A: Yes. The theatre is equipped with both an infrared listening device system and neck-loop listening device system. Listening devices are available at coat check, free of charge. A photo ID is required.
